Some as far as Los Angeles,<br />Glendale, and Riverside. The formal meeting, also as<br />Christmas celebration by the Alimans tackled issues like<br />cultural sensitivity and interaction among our<br />children while dealing with the pressures of growing up<br />in America. Also discussed were how we can assist<br />Dipolognons who have just arrived in California and<br />lessen the impact of culture shock. While there was<br />no solid draft made as to the guidelines and principles<br />to be followed, nevertheless members and officers were<br />in agreement that more meetings (or parties) are<br />needed to address the issue. Interim president of the<br />association is Kerwin Acoymo R.N who was born and<br />raised in the City of Dipolog. Vice president is Stephen<br />Aliman, and secretary is Gilda Manglapus. Not to be<br />forgotten is the unanimous vote among all members<br />that Rene Ybanez shall be the prince charming of the<br />association. The muse has not arrived from Dipolog<br />yet ;-) and so everybody strongly agreed with a smile<br />on their faces.
